What will therapy be like?

Our goal is to first and foremost create a space where you feel safe, seen and valued. First, we will go over what brought you into therapy, symptoms you have been experiencing and explore any questions you may have. Then we will collaboratively work on creating goals that you wish to work towards in your sessions. Participating in therapy is a personal choice and one you must make for yourself. Therapy is not a passive process, but rather requires active participation and work.

Do you provide in-person or virtual therapy sessions?

All services are available virtually to individuals located in Massachusetts and North Carolina.

What if I decide that this is not a good fit for me or I no longer want to participate in therapy?

You have the right to stop therapy at any point for any reason. It’s important to give yourself a chance to see if therapy is right for you and if we are a good fit prior to ending, which can take a few sessions to fully know this. Our commitment is to make sure you have your needs met as best as possible even if that means referring out if you or we don’t feel that this is a good fit.

Do you accept insurance?

We are in network for the following insurances for clients located in NC: Aetna, BlueCross BlueSheild, United Healthcare, United Medical Resources (UMR). If you are not using insurance for therapy, the fees are as follows:

First appointment–intake and evaluation: $175 (1 hour)

55 minute session–$150

45 minute session–$125

Less than 1 hour per 15 minutes–$45 (this may include a consultation with outside providers, care collaboration, or any task outside of the normal session time.

All potential new clients may have 1 free 15minute phone consultation to assess for fit and ask any further questions.

Do you prescribe medication?

No, we do not prescribe medication but we are happy to connect you with providers that do.

What therapeutic approaches do you use?

We use many different approaches! Therapy is not a one size fits all situation. We tailor our approach based on your needs, preferences and our clinical judgement. We care about treating you with a holistic approach and taking into account all that may be going on for you mentally, physically, spiritually, environmentally etc.

Will therapy be faith based?

A Christian faith based approach can be incorporated upon request. This will only be provided if requested and is never forced or mandatory.
